About Conduit Pipes

An electrical conduit is a purpose designed electrical piping system used for protection and routing of electrical wiring. The main motive for design is the safety of the wiring. An electrical conduit pipe, also known as high frequency E.R.W (Electric Resistance Welded) pipe protects electrical wiring in the following ways.

1. Protection from impact, moisture and chemical vapours.

2. Used to shield sensitive circuits from electromagnetic interference and also can prevent emission of such interference from enclosed power cables.

3. Does not permit the flow of flammable gasses and vapours, which provides protection from fire  and explosion hazard in areas handling volatile substances.
